Get the Most Out of Your Pavilion
Keeping yourself and family shaded during the spring and summer months can be a difficult task. Most times, flimsy umbrellas aren’t stationed well and can provide you with shade… until a strong gust of wind leaves you in the hot sun again. Our pavilions are the perfect way to enjoy your time outdoors with your family with the promise of stability, comfort, and overall high craftsmanship.
Check out this guide to create an upscale pavilion to compliment your needs and make your outdoor space the best it can be. From the additions we can craft into your pavilion, to the decorations you add yourself, your pavilion will look and feel magazine worthy.
Safety and Comfort
Pavilions are known for providing coverage from harsh weather, whether that is extreme heat or rain. They are perfect for covering an outdoor grill or kitchen space. Grilling would never be a question if you didn’t have to worry about standing out in the rain while flipping burgers. You can enjoy grilling and eating outside anytime when a Stoltzfus Structures pavilion is placed overhead. Our pavilions have several additions so you can get the most out of your structure and provide safety and comfort to your friends and family.
Adding walls to your pavilion will give your family and friends privacy when having a game night or enjoying a meal. These walls also allow you to add more to your pavilion, such as a TV, so you can stay up to date on the latest sports game, news, cooking show, movies, or your favorite binge-worthy TV show. To keep the bugs out, add in a screen to prevent getting bit by mosquitos and having flies around your meals. Some of our customers have also incorporated fireplaces into their pavilions. This gives an elevated appearance and lets you use the pavilion space when it gets cooler outside. Stoltzfus Structures also offers a EZShade Canopy that can provide you with even more shade if needed. These are easy to add on and even easier to pull down when the sun is too bright.
Villas
Adding a villa to your pavilion gives you an outdoor storage room and/or bathroom. This is a convenient way to add extra storage to your pavilion, without taking away from the overall appearance. Your villa will blend right in with the wall of the pavilion and a door will lead you into the extra space. Adding a bathroom in this section is a very convenient addition if your pavilion is on a pool deck or if your outdoor space is in the farthest part of your backyard.
Decorations
Light up you pavilion at night with string lights or hanging lanterns to give your outdoor space a lighter and better ambience for sitting with family and friends during late nights. Decorating with chairs, couches and tables, not only allow for more seating and dining space, but sprucing it up with pillows and tablecloths will help give your space a cozy aesthetic and leave your neighbors wishing they could come relax for a while. If your pavilion is set on a concrete pad or deck, think about adding a weatherproof rug so you can feel more at home.
Plants make any space look and feel better, whether that be a flower vase on your dining table, hanging plants, or potted succulents. As mentioned before, if placing a wall on your pavilion, a TV can also be mounted easily, letting you and your guests enjoy your favorite TV show or movie, while relaxing under the safety of your new structure.
Pavilion Styles
We have a broad range of pavilions, each catering to a specific need to give your outdoor space the upper hand. Traditional pavilions are known to offer the shelter and shade you are looking for, while being very versatile in size. The A-Frame pavilion provides elegance with its beautiful lines and “kingpost” style, which is known for being chic and spacious with the open-style ceiling and arched headers. Our Alpine pavilions have a similar appearance to the Timber Frame pavilion but start at a lower price due to the materials used in the Timber Frame style. Hampton pavilions have a hip roof design and look perfect in a garden and deck space. The standard round columns provide your pavilion with a traditional appearance, while also highlighting a romantic element. This is a perfect ambiance to add a dining set and lighting, so you can enjoy dinner with family and friends. The Santa Fe pavilion has a slight slant, offering a more spacious and unique structure style.
The Bellavue pavilion features a hip roof design and the beautiful geometric inside ceiling pattern adds a unique style, elevating your outdoor space. The Classic pavilion is a mix of a simplistic design with modern style. Its simplicity allows you to add more decorations if you are looking for a simple structure but an inside aesthetic that will pack a punch. Grand Estate pavilions are the way to go if you plan on using your outdoor space to entertain, since its architectural corners make it a focal point in your backyard.
